Kingdom Continues Demining Training for Ukraine Officers

(Phnom Pehn Post) “A team from the Cambodian Mine Action Centre [CMAC] trained the State Emergency Service of Ukraine [SESU] in the use of landmine detection equipment in Poland from July 3-7,” said the Japanese embassy in Phnom Penh.
The embassy added that the equipment used in the training, which was developed in Japan, is expected to improve the efficiency of demining operations with the use of ground penetrating radar, which can better detect the presence of buried mines.
