Say cheese! Decked in their JMU finest, fans of all ages gathered at the Tailgate Outpost to see the MRDs’ pre-game performance.

The sign says it all. Members of the Dallas-Fort Worth Alumni Chapter welcomed JMU fans to Texas on Thursday night at a Chapter Happy Hour.

How much purple can we fit in one picture? Turns out, quite a lot. Dukes squeezed in for a group picture at the KickOff Happy Hour on Thursday, hosted by the local DFW Alumni Chapter.

Yee Haw, Y’all! At the Tailgate Outpost, fans took advantage of some of the local photo opportunities.

Can you hear the music through the screen? The MRDs flooded the streets of the Fort Worth StockYards in the city’s historic district. Nothing gets JMU fans in the mood for a Pep Rally more than when the band plays “Start Wearing Purple.”

Members of the Duke Club and the JMU Alumni Association welcomed nearly 1,000 fans to Tannahill’s for a Pep Rally to celebrate the team.

It felt like all of JMU Nation was in Texas! Coach Chesney even stopped by the Pep Rally to lead fans in a cheer before our first bowl-game appearance.
